Hokay, so --
I gave in.
At the suggestion of a few of my friends, I've decided to get an LJ account (obviously). I resisted LJ for years because of all the drama that it can breed -- it seemed silly to voluntarily add more drama to my life. I really hate to admit it, but now that I'm out of college, LJ just might be my best hope for staying connected with people... one of my dear friends from Knox is about to move to Japan for at least a year, and the rest of my friends are scattered throughout the country. (I still prefer phone calls., though.) So here I am. Since I no longer have to spend several hours on my computer every day (hallelujah!), I doubt I'll be posting religiously, but at the very least I'll make the color scheme less drab and come up with a more impressive title than "Impressive Title." (That was my standard working title for my term papers in college... I think I accidentally turned one in that way!)
Fair warning: I might be the only one who notices this, but I tend to overuse ellipses and parentheses... (get used to it.)
Well, I don't think I need to introduce myself, because if you're reading this you probably know me already, and if not, I will eventually put up a bio. I promise future entries will be more interesting than this one :)
Here goes nothing!
Love, Kat
P.S. Please don't write cryptic, passive-aggressive posts about me. Passive-aggressiveness doesn't make me angry, just disappointed.
